Bowlopolis

A few weeks ago I got a postcard in the mail that said there was a free bowling party at our local AMF. So I called to make a reservation for the boys. I wasn't sure what the "catch" was, so we went to have a good time.

We were happily surprised to have our day completely paid for. This included:

1. Our own lane for 2 hours to bowl

2. Shoes for all

3. Pizza

4. Soda

5. Ice cream

All the boys had a good time and enjoyed the lights and music.

Jake won the first game with a score of 107, using the ramp. The first ball he threw went about 4 feet and stopped. We had to have someone come and clear the lane. oops

Carsen made everyone around us laugh as he danced and cheered for each and every ball he threw.

Derek won the last game, but the machines got turned off, just before he bowled the 10th frame. He would have been over 100. He had a strike and a couple spares.

Brennan didn't like losing at all, but finally decided it was better to have fun then win.

He was right.

What a fun, free activity on a very hot August afternoon.
