I Love to See the Temple

Thursday morning the boys and I loaded into the Pilot with Nana, Grumpaw & Raelynn and headed South-East. We drove for a few hours before we made it to our first and most important destination, The Gila Valley Temple.

The wind was blowing like crazy. Our hair was wild, my dress was flying up and we had to cover our eyes while we walked from the car to the building to protect ourselves from the dirt.

Once inside the chapel, we were able to watch a video about temples. We then proceeded outside again, into the crazy weather, while we crossed the parking lot to the temple. Volunteers carefully put booties over our feet to protect the temple flooring.

Once we were inside, peace engulfed us. Rowdy boys were calmed while they looked and learned about the temple.

After our tour we were served cookies and water back at the church building. Grumpaw stopped on the way out so we could have a quick photo session.

We are so excited that we will have a temple so close to us soon!
