Last night we took the boys to the Diamond Backs baseball game.
The boys had a food time watching the game and eating treats for the first couple innings, but then Carsen & Jake got "bored"!
So after I stalled them for a few innings, I took them to the "Sandlot" a play ground, whiffle ball game and batting cage on the 3rd level that is free for kids. After that we found a couple gift shops to check out, but Carsen wasn't willing to pay $24 of his own hard earned dollars for a monkey.
Finally, we stopped at the Arcade put on by Peter Piper Pizza. I gave each boy 4 tokens. Carsen went on the simulated roller coaster ride and loved it!
Jake chose to ride 4 different little vehicles and had a great time too!
We made it back to our seats by the 7th inning stretch and actually made it through the rest of the game. Derek was sure he could get an autograph from someone so we were just about the last people to leave the field. Unfortunately, the sharpie was not used :(
In that second picture the Dad looks pretty bored. Looks like you almost got your money's worth. Love ya! Nana
