Last week was Carsen's first Pinewood Derby!
During Spring Break, Carsen was lucky enough to spend some time with Grumpaw out in the shop.
When they were finished creating, Goldie was born and Carsen couldn't have been more excited!
During the race Carsen was so excited. He could hardly contain himself. He watched all the races so intently and cheered everyone on. All the kids really had a great time win or lose.
Carsen and Goldie ended up in 4th place with an average speed of 222.1 mph!
When Nana and Grumpaw were leaving Carsen gave Grumpaw a big hug and said, "Thanks for making me a super fast car!" He had on a grin from ear to ear. He loved it!
Brennan also participated in the race and got 6th place. He and his grandpa made his car too! It was Sponge Bob. I am not a big fan of Bob, but the car was really cute and clever.
i love that both boys built their cars with their grandpas - that's awesome!
