I can honestly say that I have no idea where the past 14 years have gone. It seems like just yesterday Derek was my baby. He was the sweetest little angel.
He still is in many ways. He has turned into a great athlete, a gun & hunting enthusiast, a good friend, a compassionate person, and an affectionate son.
Although he can sometimes give us a run for our money, we love him dearly.
