Christmas Eve Celebration

Traditions are such a special part of the holidays.  One of our traditions is spending Christmas Eve with the Richards Family.

This year we all gathered at the Flesher's Home for the festivities.

Each year we have a dinner and try to get the kids to eat.  The kids are too excited about the pile of presents they want to open to eat.

I was a little picture happy this year, but wanted to get a candid type photo of each person.

I taught the girls a little about editing photos and they practiced their skills.

We forced the cousins to get their annual photos before they could open anything.

Every year their poses get more and more dramatic!

The excitement this year was Photo Bombing!  It is funny once, maybe even twice, but over and over.  Come On!

Derek was most excited for his Dream hat from Papa and Nana.  He also got a certificate for a tank hood from Glen and Shelley.

Carsen got a mint set of quarters this year from Papa and Nana.

Jake got some Legos and sports gear.

After the gifts were all opened, we had some delicious dessert before we could head home to have our visions of sugar plums.
