When all was said and done the boys had a lot of candy. They sorted it into piles and then weighed it.
Carsen sorted into 2 piles, like and dislike. The total was 6.5 pounds of candy.
We had a fun and festive Halloween! Everyone slept well.

This year Derek was a skater, Carsen was Darth Vader, Amber & Ashley were witches and Jake was Batman.
After our family visit,
Sydney, Margene, Anthony and I took the boys out to hit the neighborhood houses.
We saw a few scary houses along the way.
Carsen didn't mind.
Derek didn't mind either.
Jake, on the other hand, really wasn't sure.

Jake sorted all his candy by type and then carefully put it back in his sack.

jake is my boy! i love his sorting method - right up my alley. although carsen's is a great idea! i would let you have my dislike pile :)
