This year my family participated in the 2nd annual Undie 5000. It is a 5k run/walk to help raise money and awareness for colon cancer. Randi was the team captain for "Rodgers' Rumps and Kim's Keesters".
Derek and I went together with almost $400.00 raised for the cause.
There was a moving poster about my Mom's battle with this terrible cancer at such a young age.
All the Rodger's girls were at the race and met up with our favorite doctor, Dr. Amin. He was there with his own team, but since he has done all of our colonoscopies this year, we thought we would say hello and show him how serious we are about fighting this crap!
The weather was beautiful and the sights were too, as we walked/ran through down town.
Next year we plan to raise a lot more money, so get your wallets ready!
