Saturday, March 6 Randi and I loaded up the 4runner with our boys and headed to California.
We had to make a couple of pit stops before getting out onto the open road, but we were happy cause we were right on schedule, and we were together after Randi abandoning me for a week in Cabo. The boys were happy with a movie, but after and hour and a half we weren't even out of the city due to a bridge/overpass length of construction.
Seven hours later we were at The Disneyland Hotel. It has always been a dream of mine and Randi's to be able to stay and due to a bit of hard work and a sale on the room, we finally made it. I also justified the expense as part of Randi's birthday present(s).
The hotel grounds are beautiful! And the boys began their exploration the moment we stopped the car. When we checked in the boys were given birthday balloons and celebration pins.
We had a typical room in the Wonder tower
that was equipped with all the little things that are typical "Disney" charm.
We were so excited about our stay!
