Museum Mix-up

A few years ago Regina told me about a cool dinosaur museum in Mesa. I have wanted to take the boys for years and now Jake is old enough and loves dinosaurs so we decided to go. I invited Nana to go with us and she knew right where to go. We parked and went into the Museum for Youth. We paid a decent amount of money and began to explore the museum.

After the first room we wondered where the dinosaurs were. Nana went to the front and asked and they responded, "Two blocks down at the Arizona Museum of Natural History."

What we had seen at the museum was pretty much it. Wow! What a disappointment. So, we left museum one and headed to the correct museum. We paid again and off we went to see the dinosaurs!

This museum was a hit! We saw lots of dinosaurs,

did a bunch of BIG puzzles,

and then we panned for gold.

The kids all had a great time sifting through the sand for the shiny stuff.

We stayed so long that we ended up being kicked out of the museum at closing time.

We can't wait to get back to the right museum!
