Run with the Grun-ion

Tonight as we were leaving Nana & Grumpaw's Beach Hut across the street, we noticed a few people on the beach. Derek insisted they were looking for grunion, but since there were only 3-4 people, I said no way. Derek went down to investigate and sure enough at 11:30 pm the boys ran for the beach with lights and buckets.

This time they were successful and caught about 20 of these poor little fish. By the time we were finished, there were about 40 people out on the beach laughing and screaming, trying to capture these slippery little suckers!

Now they have been washed and frozen for tomorrows bait or breakfast.
