Emily's Baptism Day

Emily was baptized today by her father. She looked so beautiful in the both the dresses that her mother made her.

Emily was glowing with excitement from the day's activities.

All the kids were very excited. They couldn't even stand still for a picture.

So we tried to play Simon Says with the kids. And while it was very fun, it really didn't work.

We really tried hard to get Rodgers Family pictures, but someone was always being a bit silly!

The girls seemed to have figured it out much more quickly.

Emily's grandmothers both gave talks.

And her grandfathers stood as the witnesses to her baptism and helped with her confirmation.

Emily and her parents did a very special musical number. Ryan played the piano, Michelle played the flute and Emily sang the song Baptism. They all did a great job.

After the baptism, we all headed back to Ryan's for lunch and a chocolate fountain. Michelle & her girls LOVE chocolate!

Once lunch was eaten, Emily opened a lot of nice gifts from family & friends.
