After a whirlwind adventure with Raelynn, I got home from the hospital about 2:30pm. Lucky for me I am blessed beyond measure with a wonderful husband that had made our share of Thanksgiving dinner and had the house cleaned up so I could come home to no stress.
About 5:00pm we headed over the Shelley & Glen's for dinner.
We were so excited to see Marie, Randy, Becca, and Rachel's family. It's been a year since we were able to see her baby Kolbi and were really looking forward to meeting Ace for the first time.
Dinner was delicious with all the fixins...
Our boys must not have agreed.
This first plate is Carsen's.
This next one is Jake's.
And finally Derek's. His was at least close.
We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed catching up with one another.
Friday our festivities continued as we tried to go to see Tangled. Unfortunately, the movie was packed; so we packed up and went to Krispy Kreme. This was Kolbi's first time and needless to say, she loved it. We decided that donuts were our breakfast and headed down the street to In-N-Out for lunch.
Later that afternoon we all met up for family pictures and then headed our house for Mexican Food, family football and a fire pit. Later that night I got to babysit the 2 babies while a few lucky people went to the movies. I loved having Kolbi and Ace snuggle up with me all weekend! They are great kids!
Saturday was also filled with fun. We all met at Jump Street for some exercise. CJ, Becca and Derek had fun playing dodge ball. They sure got a workout. Next we headed over to Peter Piper Pizza for lunch and games. Finally, as the darkness descended, we headed out to Glendale Glitters with the Cartmill Clan. We visited with Santa, ate many different treats and the kids went on a couple rides. The weather was cool and the lights were beautiful. We were sad to hug our family goodbye and we can't wait until next time!
