Are you ready for some (flag) football?

Each fall a couple of the teachers at Legend Springs run a co-ed flag football season for 4th, 5th and 6th graders.  Derek was so excited to be able to play last year and he loved it.  This year was no different.  He was the first kid in line with his money and permission slip. 

This year he was on the "Red Redhawks" and  although he didn't know any of the other kids on his team, he still went out and play his best. 

Derek even earned enough money to buy himself a pair of "Cutters" receiving gloves before the season started.  Using those gloves he has made several interceptions and touch downs.  He has also been a great defensive player and is always up against the best person on the other team.  He is a tag puller extrtrordinaire!
