Derek is an amazing artist. He has been drawing for fun for years. He has an amazing talent.
This year he won 2nd place in the 5th grade poster contest for their "Character Counts Campaign."
He also made this awesome Thanksgiving mosaic piece using beans and grains.
Personally, I am very jealous since I can't even draw a stick figure, but I am also very proud.
