Peoria Sports Complex Easter Eggstravaganza

Easter weekend Margene invited us to the annual egg hunt at Peoria Sports Complex.  As you can see there were lots of people there, although not too many.  The lines were short and fast.

The weather was nice and there were tons of free activities.  There were carnival games, art projects and even give aways!  Jake won a basket of candy and a stuffed horse.  All the boys won free pizza and tokens from Peter Piper Pizza.  Most fun of all was the candy hunt.

The event coordinators threw candy all over the ball field.  Tons for each age group.  When the whistle was blown the kids were off.  They could collect as much candy as they could.

The boys totally loved it.

One of the paid events was about 12 different bouncers.

Could they have had more fun?

Carsen went first.

Next Brennan,

and finally Jake!

Margene and I decided to have a little fun of our own while we waited for the boys.  We made ourselves into the milk queens with the free crowns from Shamrock!

The moms and their boys!

The boys were also forced to sit with the Easter Bunny for a very sweet photo.

Just before we headed home, the boys were able to watch an adult baseball game just behind the stadium.
