Easter Day

Easter day was a nice family day.  We got up early and the boys found their baskets and eggs hiding around the house.  We quickly got ready for church and headed out.  Once we got home all I wanted to do was take a nap, but the boys wanted to dye their eggs, so forget the nap.

Mid-afternoon we loaded up into the car and headed to the East Valley for our family celebration at the Grossarth's.  After dinner the kids were super excited for the egg hunt and it was hard to keep them contained.  No doubt they took their lead from Carol.  She was just as excited as they were.

Carsen was the lucky winner!  He found the Grumpaw's Golden Egg with 5 dollars hidden inside.

Needless to say he was very excited.  To heck with the candy.

Jake on the other hand collected as many eggs as he could and was eager to open all of them.

Derek is getting older and the whole thing was a bit juvenile for him.  He was more than happy to share all his candy with the little ones and then kick back and relax.

We all missed Raelynn at the hunt this year.  She had the flu and Nana and Grumpaw sent the goods over, as they had to stay home to take care of her.
