Saturday Fun (5/6)

Saturday Kari and Granny went down stair early to play the penny slots.  Rodica and I had another plan.  We went downstairs to the pool and reserved our chairs and waited for the sun.

They had the coolest chairs that sat in the water just a little bit, enough to keep you cool.  We quite enjoyed our little dip in the pool.

The pool had a water slide that went through this huge shark tank.  Believe it or not, we tried it.  It was a bit scary, fun a lot of fun.

After the pool we headed out for lunch and a quick visit to Kari's new Vegas house.  O our way back to the hotel, Rodica and I talked Kari and Pat into a little time at the pool.  But, on our way back to the room to change, we stopped by one of the shops and Rodica was our little Barbie doll.  We picked out things for her to try on and we loved every minute of living vicariously through her.

After our second trip to the pool we got ready for our evening entertainment.  We headed down to the Gordie Brown show, where Gordie does comedy, singing and impersonations.  The show was great!  He was fantastic.  I could have stayed there all night.

One our show was over we headed out to the Fremont Street Party and light show.  The roof was one big light show, there were bands performing up and down the street, there were shops, boutiques and impersonators too!  We had a great time just people watching.

It was hard to say goodnight to our last night in Vegas.
