On Thursday, July 21, the boys and I loaded up with Nana, Grumpaw and Raelynn in the Pilot and headed North toward Flagstaff. By lunchtime, we had lunch in Page, AZ. As we continued North into Utah, we had some delicious ice cream at a creamery in Kanab, Utah. It was a place that Grandpa Fred used to take my Dad to when he was a kid. We followed along highway 89 for many miles looking at the beautiful green landscape, snaked by a winding river. My Dad talked about all the little places along there that he has always dreamed about fishing. About 9 pm we ended up in Lehi, Utah at Aunt Mary Ellen and Uncle Eric Ferrin's house where we were welcomed to stay while we explored Utah for the next 6 days.
