Trent & Regina love to river raft. Every summer for the last 8 years Regina has taken her family on the 15 hour drive to Wyoming and the Snake River. This year they bought their own boat so we could ride too!
The river was much higher and faster this year so the kids weren't able to go more than once.
Trent took me, Anthony, Sydney and Neal as rowers with the kids down a quiet, gentle part of the river. We enjoyed looking for wildlife and watching the kids excitement on what they called "rapids". When we got to a certain point in the river, Randi met us to pick up the kids and drop off Mike and Regina.
Some of the river was beautiful and peaceful. We saw an eagle soaring and a river otter as we drifted by.
Other parts of the river were more dangerous and treacherous, but we all rowed and stayed in the boat, oh except for Neal who fell in once. Derek luckily held Sydney in with all of his 80lbs.
We had a great time and are so thankful for that experience on the Snake River.
