In Jake's kindergarten class, they have 4th grade buddies. About once a month they get together for an activity. Jake lucked out because his buddy just happens to be our neighbor DJ.
This month, Jake has been looking forward to making gingerbread houses with his buddy.
Jake didn't seem to feel too well and DJ ended up doing most of the work to put together the house.
I helped him decorate it before he couldn't hold his head up any longer.
I ended up taking him home early only to find out that he had 102 degree fever, which remained off and on for 5 days. Poor little guy had some nasty bug and ended up back on daily breathing treatments for the rest of the winter. Bleh!
