Sand Slide

My boys love to be outside.  They could all spend every waking moment outside, 365 days a year.  They don't care about weather that is too hot.  They just add water.  They don't care if it's too cold, they really don't get cold.  None of them wear a jacket to school more than 3 days a year.

When Derek was younger we were outside with him all of the time.  Now that there is a group of kids that play together , we (all the neighboring parents) just check on the group of boys intermittently.  It is like a little piece of heaven.  Our own little safe street, protected from danger and harm.

Sundays are the only day the boys are confined to the backyard.  Just the brothers, including our 4th son Brennan.

A couple weeks ago the boys called me outside to see their master piece; a sand slide.

What I didn't realize is that this slide is wasn't just a piece of art.  It was actually a slide.

All the boys tried it out.

Alone, and together.

Another outdoor fun success.
