Living close to Nana and Grumpaw has had many advantages over the years. One of those is that I am their absolute favorite. Another is that the boys have been able to make spooky Halloween houses with Nana many times.
This year the month only had 13 days, instead of the normal 31, so we had a very hard time scheduling the event. It finally happened and the boys were only slightly interested in making their houses, despite all of Nana's hard work and my 40 dollars in candy and frosting.
Jake really is going to have to spend the next few years with Cody if he wants to do anything fun, cause his brothers are too old and boring now.
We even sent DJ over as a little incentive, but those builders are faster than they used to be.
Thank goodness for Raelynn. She will never get too old for holiday fun.
Apparently neither will Grumpaw and Nana.
