Jake was very insistent this year that he participate in the turkey trot at school. Unfortunately, he had his last baseball game the same day. The game was at 8 and the turkey trot began at 9. The game ran late, then the coach passed out metals. We jumped in the car and the boys changed into their new t-shirts. We got to our neighborhood at 9:40, which was perfect because other participants were just passing our street; so I stopped and let Carsen & Jake out. They ran to the school and I drove ahead and met them in the parking lot. The kids had some free snacks and we spent $22 at the library used book sale fundraiser. Everyone was happy when we left there to head straight to Derek's baseball tournament!
