As kids get older, their class parties get smaller and smaller. Smaller parties means less need for a full-time "home room mom". So this year I am just the part time home room mom for Carsen's 4th grade class. I emailed his teacher, Mrs. Fitz, at the end of November and asked her what she wanted me to do for the party. She just wanted a craft and some snacks, so that's what we did.
The kids made these cute reindeer hot cocoa treats to take home, in addition to watching a movie, eating snacks and just hanging out with their buddies. All in all, everyone had a good time.
