Lucky for me, Carsen still wants me to attend some of his school events. This time he invited me to field day. I jumped at the opportunity to go and take a few pictures. Unfortunately, we were having a heat wave and it was 92 degrees for this early March activity.

The kids took advantage of the water relay to keep cool.
They won 2 races in a row, but didn't have such good luck with the tug-o-war. They were good sports and just had fun being outside.
The next day was Jake's field day.

His class was also crowned twice for the water relay.
The kids were laughing and giggling the entire time.
But everyone was hysterical when Jake got a little confused and dumped the bucket of water over his head, instead of above his head. He didn't do this just once, but two times in a row.
It was great!
The third time, he finally caught on.
His teacher ended the day with a water fight against the entire class. The kids thought that was so funny.
