This year carsen and Jake had a whole day special celebration. Aunt Marie was in town for business and came to stay with us for the boys special day. Even though it was a Friday, Anthony took off work and we let the boys sleep in and miss school. Our first activity of the day was going to Lamar's for donuts. We all picked out our favorites and then headed to a Dodgers spring training game.
Marie bough the boys each a ticket for their birthday.
We didn't plan particularly well for the heat and sun of the day. I ended up buying the birthday boys very expensive hats to help keep them cool and shaded. We made it through most of the game, but left before the crowd in the 8th inning.
After the game we went home for a short rest before picking up each of the boys best friends and heading to Peter Piper Pizza.
Nana Carlys made the boys each their own special request cake. carsen wanted the blue sparkle with purple edges and s fish. Jake wanted the rainbow cake with gold at the end.
Grumpaw, Nana Caryls, Raelynn, Aunt Randi, Cody, Aunt Marie, Aunt Shelley, Uncle Glen, Amber, Ashley, Brennan & Ryland all helped us celebrate with pizza, salad, sodas, cake and of course tokens.
Happy Birthday to my 2 sweet boys. I am so happy and thankful for both of you.
