In the fall of 2013 Derek was invited to umpire AA Little League games for Arrowhead Little League.

He knows the game well and learned a lot.  He dealt with some great coaches and some very difficult coaches, but he gained a lot of self confidence.  In the spring 2014 Derek was invited back to ump AA again.  He did a great job and made good money to buy himself baseball equipment, hunting and fishing stuff too.  20 dollars cash is great for a 2 hour gig.  We hope he keeps up the good work in seasons to come!
