Another Trip to the ER

Last Friday, when I was out of town, Derek was invited to the skate park with his friend Tommy. While he was there he tried a few new tricks and while trying to grind, he fell. As he fell, he put out his right hand to stop the fall.

When I got home Sunday night, he complained and cried that his wrist hurt. I called our neighbor Ron, he puts on casts and such for a living. HE splinted his wrist and told us to watch the swelling and such. Things seemed to be getting better, until Thursday night. When he took the splint off the wrist was still very sore and swollen. We decided to be safe and headed to Arrowhead ER.

Once at the ER, he was x-rayed, examined and splinted before exiting.

The results are still out as they think the fracture is at the growth plate, but can't tell until there is evidence of calcification. We see an orthopedic specialist on Monday, hopefully we will know more then.
