Tonight the boys and I joined Dad and Raelynn, Sydney, Randi and Mike at dinner at Uncle Sam's. December 22 is Kyle's Birthday and we always celebrate at Kyle's favorite restaurant, Uncle Sam's.
While we waited for our food, the boys colored and played games.
After a while, Jake came over to me and said, "Is the guys who'd birthday it is coming to the party?"
I had to smile as I realized that Derek and Carsen know all about Kyle, but Jake is still too young remember from year to year.
I explained that Kyle was in heaven and then Jake asked if, "the guy who was in heaven, Kyle's, parents were coming."
I love the innocence of children. We had a nice time together.
Happy Birthday Kyle. We miss you.
