Arrow of Light

Derek has been involved in cub scouts for the last 3 years.  He has earned his wolf, bear and now webelos badge.  Last week at pack meeting he was also awarded his Arrow of Light. 

This is the highest achievement in cub scouts and we are very proud of him.

During the meeting they do a little ceremony and tell a story about the path a boy takes to get to his Arrow of Light.  The cub master has a pretty cool backyard and has made some pretty cool props for the boys to use.

Derek was excited to paddle this canoe around the pool, but I was less excited to cross this bridge that represented moving from cubs to boy scouts.
