Carsen's trying something new

At the end of fall baseball, Carsen's coaches said that they were going to put their boys on a flag football team and asked us to join them.  Carsen agreed that he'd like to try a new sport, so we signed him up.

His coach's name in Tiger.  At first I was a little leery, but he is a great coach!  He is positive and excited and is really teaching the kids a lot about football.

Carsen goes to practice twice a week and then has a game on Saturday.  Last week Randi came to the game to watch her boy play and take some pictures for me with her awesome camera.

On a side note...Carsen is weird with his shoes. He had the reputation in baseball for wearing vans slip-ons.  The joke was that we were going to call vans and have some custom cleats made.  Finally last season he at least wore shoes that tied.  Last week he finally gave in and put on a pair of cleats that I have been saving in the drawer for quite a while.

At his game Carsen scored the winning touch down!  This week he pulled a lot flags and did a great job.

After the game the parents all line up and make a tunnel for the kids to run through.  It is a great time!

So far the Hurricanes are 3-0!
