Carsen's New Wheels

Just before Carsen's 4th birthday he learned to ride a 2 wheeled bike, without training wheels.  Just before his 5th birthday he got his first new bike from Santa.  It looked like a motocross motorcycle.  It was large and bulky.  He rode it some, but really rode his scooter the majority of the time. 

In the past couple of months, Carsen has decided that he wants to ride!  His motorcycle bike was too small, so he donated it to Randi's baby garage sale.  Since he has been borrowing Derek's bike and trying to ride Anthony's too!

So Friday, he took the money from his baptism gifts (and a donation from mom and Dad) and bought himself a new bike. 

We went to one bike shop and Carsen found a bike he liked.  He REALLY wanted a bike so he was going to buy it.  It was really expensive and he didn't LOVE it.  He just wanted a bike.  His eyes are beautiful and always tell the secrets of his soul.  Love, Truth, Lies, Happiness, Sadness...  They did not LOVE the very expensive bike.  I finally talked him into looking a bit more.  I promised we would come back if we didn't find another bike. 

At the next bike store, his eyes lit up when he saw what he called, "new & true, Super Blue"

He found his bike and fit him perfectly!

Carsen has spent every waking moment since riding his new bike and is even doing tricks and jumping ramps!  Who knew...about Super Blue?
