The day after the musical extravaganza as Jake's classroom party. He was a little bit disappointed that he would only be able to stay for the first 15 minutes, because we had to drive like crazy to the Polar Express. His teacher did the best that she could to accommodate us by having the fun book exchange first. She read the book, The Night Before Christmas and every time she read the word "the" the children had to pass their wrapped books to the right.
The kids all laughed and giggled every time they got to pass. They thought it was the best thing game in the world.
Once the game was over, Mrs. Barbee packed up all the activities for Jake to do at home and we were off! We are so lucky that Jake has such a wonderful teacher. Jake was able to make a sock snowman, a scrapbook page and an Oreo Snowman after our trip to the North Pole.
