Carsen enjoyed flag football so much last year with Coach Tiger that we signed up again. There were so many kids that requested this coach that he had to split the boys into 2 teams for the games and he coaches both. They practice together and they are both Sabercats, but they get more playing time with only 8 on each team. The way the teams worked out, all 8 of our players are from our baseball team. So it is nice to be with our little extended family once again.
Carsen complains about going to practice every single time, but after practice he is excited and happy. He is a great player, he just needs a little self confidence.
During Carsen's first game he pulled the most flags of all the kids. He sets his sights on the target and he is determined to get that flag. If he is on your side of the field, watch out!
During Carsen's second game there were only 2 touchdowns scored. He scored a touch down and the coach picked him up and did a little victory dance. The other touchdown was scored by our 4th son Brennan. Way to go boys!
The season is off to a great start and I am sure there will be more to report as Carsen makes his moves on the field!
Go Carsen! Can we get Eli on your team cuz his coach this year SUCKS!
