Jake came home a few weeks ago and told us that his class had an incubator full of eggs. Last Thursday he came home to report that one of the eggs had a hole in it from a baby chick pecking through trying to get out.
Friday, when I picked Jake up from school, his teacher reported that he was able to watch the chicken come out of the egg. He was so excited about what he had seen.
So after talking about them all weekend long I went into his classroom today to take a few pictures.
