September ended with an exciting change for Derek. He began to play club baseball. We have been pondering and considering this level of baseball for him for a couple years off and on, but more seriously since last spring.
After a few unexpected events Derek was picked up by Elite Baseball Academy. He is learning so much and having a great time too.
We have only had one tournament so far, but many more are scheduled for the up coming months.
Derek is playing catcher, his favorite spot, as well as short stop. He has been batting first and has gotten some great hits!
We are very proud of Derek and what great sportsmanship and leadership he has developed.
