Jake has a wonderful first grade teacher. She is new to our school, so I was a little worried, especially because the other boys both had Mrs. Tutt. But, during the first 100 days she has proven herself over and over. She has found a way to push these kids to learn and grow, all while still loving the school experience.
This is just one example of a cool bulletin board in the classroom. The kids love being able to see all the different places they have traveled and have learned about the world that exists outside their own city.
Another is this super cute book report that was creative, but also took a lot of skill.
These kids are reading books and writing paragraphs with correct punctuation and spelling. They are amazing, just like their teacher.
